life...

so it's been a while since my last real entry....
i don't have anything completely original, but here is a tidbit of what i just wrote in my journal (yes i am a journal enthusiast) which explains my lack of blogging, since most of my energy is spent journalling....even though they are essentially the same. anyways....

I think that i shall write a chronicle of my adventures with mona on thursday....it all started at about 5pm when my dad took me to UNM when he was picking us Joshua. Well, you see, Joshua had to go to "the weekend" meeting. and, since i had a lack of meetings, i switched roles with Joshua and posed as a college student for the night.

so, off Mona and i do to the lovely local asian restaurant. i've been there twice now, but have yet to actually eat there. kinda weird, i know... so yeah, i sat there and watched Monique eat, while i drank my soap flavored water. Good times, let me tell ya!!

then off to the shuttle to get to miss Mona's car way off in the boondocks:) lovely UNM parking;) then to Nob Hill for some hard core not so shopping (considering the fact that no purchases were made). during this time i experienced quite a few first times, which is always a good thing (ok maybe i shouldn't say always).

so here's a list of the firsts:

1. first time in Urban Outfitters
2. first time in Buffalo Exchange (where we ran into Gina who was looking for cow-girl clothes for the weekend of course) so we attempted to help her in that search...

3. first time at other random stores of which i do not know the names. a hippie-ish store with all the spacers and tye-dye shirts you'll ever want to see. and a store with more records than i knew existed....

4. first time getting honked at while crossing central (crazy sketch albuquerquians...)
5. this one is my favorite: first time at Renovate. where i ran into a bunch of college kids- go figure! i also got the pleasure of Kristian Stanfill's amazing worship playing.
6. first time walking down central at nine o clock at night and not being scared for my life

so yes, this is it. hope you enjoyed. sorry my sentences are completely grammatically incorrect. it is a part of my "i want school to be over already" attitude:)

His beautiful creation

so if any of ya'll were observant yesterday, you would have discovereded that the sky looked alot like this. yes it has been photoshopped a bit....and yes, it was taken from a moving vehicle.....but the moral of the story is that God is by far the best artist i know!! so in conclusion, look outside every once in a while God has a beautiful creation out there.

ice cream shopping

Picking an ice cream is a serious decision. it takes much contemplation. this is a very important and stressful process. thank goodness we made it out alive and with some 88cent pints!!
